JESS
Quiet everywhere but on stage, I obtained a BFA in Theatre for Youth from Shenandoah Conservatory in 2009. In 2016, I received an MEd in Education.
Over the years, audiobooks played while driving to jobs, or while holding babies. One day, I thought, why not narrate books myself?
I love stories about strong women, sweeping history or mythology, and those featuring awkward young people with gumption. I bring a grounded, playful, and connected presence to every piece. When I’m not recording, you will find me in mud-caked boots, covered in flour, chasing my children, or dancing (poorly, but happily).
